When Tsuyu came it into the picture, You two became very close

Gosetsu acted like a protective father so to speak, but he did approve of you

You guys enjoyed eating dango in her room

Heck, you made her Monster hunter rise style dango for her as a surprise

Tsuyu was so happy with the surprise

Deep down Yotsuyu enjoys the affection you gave her light counter part

The Identity of Akefu Satoru (JoJolion)

Again, we discuss a mystery in JJL and thus… the X-Files theme intensifies…

Since chapter 102 of JoJolion was released, once again a question has come out of the readers’ mind:

“If 「Wonder of U」 just started impersonating as Akefu Satoru about 10 years ago, what was the identity of the 'elderly man' who appeared as an attendee at Rai's father's funeral?”

Let's review the timeline of both respective events: (spoilers ahead)

Chapter 100 of JoJolion revealed that the flashback of Rai's father's funeral in chapter 99 happened 17 years ago (±1994):

The flashback of Tooru and little Yasuho in chapter 102 should have happened around 10 years ago (±2001) according to Akefu’s age (89-79=10):

Logically, 「Wonder of U」 started using Akefu’s identity around 10 years ago, but then… whose identity was used by WOU in Rai's father's funeral?

Some readers have speculated that WOU only stole Akefu's 'identity', namely his information, name, career and so on, excluding his physical form. This is a comparison of Akefu's real face (in the flashback) and Akefu (WOU)'s current face:

’middle’ is the face of the real Akefu whose identity has been stolen.

Your mileage may vary, but the real Akefu's face looked a little different from the face of WOU's Akefu, of course there is still a possibility that his face simply changes with age (in a decade).

But if indeed the face of WOU's Akefu is different from the real Akefu's face, hence it reminded me of Yotsuyu, who had been revealed that he had also stolen the identity of someone with no relatives.

JJL chapter 33: Josuke! Go to the Higashikata Fruit Parlor!

We have seen a glimpse of the true owner of 'Yotsuyu' identity, that his face was totally different from Yotsuyu the rock-human we know. Interestingly, Yotsuyu’s identity theft was also done around 10 years ago! It was pretty close to the time Tooru started using Akefu's identity.

Therefore, it is very possible that the face of Akefu used by 「Wonder of U」 is different from the real Akefu Satoru's face. But if so, whose face has WOU used in his impersonation?

Recalling the scene from the funeral of Rai's father, ‘this’ Akefu Satoru could have disguised as Rai's father's acquaintance or work colleague. I have never had first-hand experience with Japanese funeral (be it as an attendee), so I don't really know how easy it is for someone to break into a funeral as an attendee. 

I also was a little hopeful that WOU might have been using the face of Joseph Joestar (Holy’s father), so that my old theory which has been debunked will be partially realized. But it is highly unlikely, because Holy has encountered the Head Doctor (WOU) several times. Assuming that she has seen its human form, then she should have mentioned it to Josuke if it did use her father's face.

JJL chapter 92: The Wonder of You (Your Miraculous Love) – part 9

Though given that Holy also said that she can’t remember HD’s face, there is a possibility that WOU is using her father's face but is lost in Holy's memory due to her illness.

Then again, speaking in ‘meta’, it's also possible that Araki did not take into account the consistency of Akefu's face. Nevertheless, theorizing to find ways in order to make misteries like this make sense in-universe might also satisfy us as fellow readers.
